Paprika achieves ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certification
This year, one of our largest global clients set us a challenge: to become ISO compliant. So we set about getting a team together and applied for the ISO 27001 (the information security standard) and ISO 9001 (the quality management standard).
Over the last 6 months Paprika staff have been dedicated to meeting the high standards set by ISO. “The whole team has worked very hard to ensure that devices were encrypted, unauthorised USB’s blocked, websites filtered, hardware assets lists updated, procedures documented and followed etc” says Richard Dolley, Paprika’s Technical Support Manager and one of the “awesome foursome” that led the ISO project.
In addition to a full review of IT security, our entire business processes have been mapped, checked and rigorously tested by ISO audit. Plus, if you are registered as our main contact at your agency, you would have received our customer satisfaction survey via email. This survey, another ISO requirement, was long overdue and we would like to thank all you lovely people that took the time to complete our questionnaire.
We’re happy to report the questionnaire results with 97% of responses saying that the software met their needs well, and two-thirds of those choosing “very well” or “extremely well” – hoorah! In addition to this, 84% of participants were either “somewhat satisfied” or “very satisfied” with our company. As always, there’s room for improvement and we received some great insights and constructive feedback which we will be working on into 2018. We look forward to repeating the customer satisfaction survey to assess how we’re doing.
Paprika start 2018 having achieved ISO 27001 and 9001 accreditation. We are now looking forward to prominently displaying our certificates and hope this accreditation offers ongoing reassurance to all our clients. Paprika holds itself accountable to meet the high standards set by the industry and as we move forward into the coming years, there will be a constant review of security and management processes to ensure our products and services consistently meet customer’s requirements, and that quality is consistently improved upon.
With special thanks to Paprika’s ISO team, who (on top of all their regular duties) have made this all possible: Liz Wood, HR Manager, Paprika; Beth Stickels, Product Development Manager, Paprika; Richard Dolley, Technical Support Manager, Paprika; and Tom Batterbury, Consultant, H B Associates.
