This 3 hour masterclass will increase your understanding of your Paprika database and supply you with the expert knowledge needed to speed-up WIP reconciliation and month-end procedures. The interactive training seminar uses preconfigured test data and scenario based learning techniques to demonstrate the necessary steps to overcome common issues you may face when reconciling your data.

Why should you attend this course?

Over time, knowledge of the Paprika system can dilute, especially as you bring people into the agency and others move on to pastures new. This seminar is designed to refresh your agency staff, and increase their understanding and expertise when reconciling their agency data or performing month-end procedures.

Who should attend this course?

If you have a working knowledge of Paprika reconciliation and month-end procedures but are stumped when your trial balance figure doesn’t agree with you expenses detail report – this course is for you. Working through numerous scenarios, our consultants will show you the handy tools and reports that can help you identify the problem and correct the error in your data.

Please be aware that this course is an intermediate level and all attendees must have a working knowledge of reconciliations and month-end procedures in Paprika.

What is the agenda?

  • Getting to know your Paprika database – the business unit structure
  • Understand how WIP and COSA are created in Paprika
  • Go through various corrections of mistakes and learn the tools needed to help you identify them when your WIP figure on a job report doesn't agree with the WIP nominal on the TB
  • WIP and accrual reconciliation
  • Learn the different reports that can be run when reconciling WIP, building calculations for WIP, COSA and Net WIP using the User Defined Job report

What do I need to bring with me?

All course materials will be provided. This is an interactive group session using purposefully corrupted test data to simulate real-life situations, thus, you don’t even need to bring your laptops. At the end of the session you will receive a comprehensive training manual which covers all of the scenarios discussed throughout the duration of the seminar.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided throughout the half-day session.
